Volume I
Includes the regular morning and evening chanting, in Pali and English, as well as many different reflections from the Pali Canon and traditional sources.
These verses are commonly chanted in Pali throughout the Theravada world, and their English counterparts are recited in the Western monasteries in the Ajahn Chah lineage.
Volume II
Includes several important suttas, including the three cardinal ones:
- Dhammacakkappavattana Sutta
- Anatta-lakkhaṇa Sutta
- Āditta-pariyāya Sutta
Parittas are chanted at Amaravati each Sunday in the sala. Occasionally, funeral chanting is offered for deceased sangha members or friends of the community.
